Percussion Area Sound Reset Schedule

For the final 15 minutes of each hour, please pause product demos with sound. Percussion quiet periods:

  • 10:45–11 am
  • 11:45–12 pm
  • 12:45–1 pm
  • 1:45–2 pm
  • 2:45–3 pm
  • 3:45–4 pm
Please inform your booth team members of this schedule so we can maintain a product demo environment at reasonable sound levels.

Volume-Friendly Tips to Manage Your Setup & Demo Plan

  • Place demo areas in the back of your booth, away from the aisles.
  • Limit product demos to 3 minutes or less.
  • Use headphones to facilitate demos.
  • Point speakers and amplifiers inside your exhibit space.
  • Place signs in your booth reminding attendees of maximum demo lengths and decibel levels.
  • Provide drum thrones when actively demonstrating. Stow thrones to limit unsupervised playing.
  • Use brushes or nylon rods instead of drumsticks when possible.
  • Install drum shields around your kits or create personalized experiences with an isolation booth.

Thanks for your cooperation!
