Action Required: Verify Your Booth Materials Meet Fire Safety Requirements
If your booth includes decorative materials or foam-padded furniture, take a few minutes to confirm they meet Anaheim Fire & Rescue fire safety requirements before arriving onsite.
If you're using any of the following, they must be flame resistant:
Drapes, curtains, decorative fabrics or netting
Faux plants, flowers, grass walls, succulent walls or boxwood hedges
Canvas tents, canopies or awnings
Straw or hay
Inflatables
Cardboard display walls or furniture
Bean bags
Fur or carpeted walls
Other decorative materials used for booth décor or separation
Before the show opens, you must:
Submit a California State Fire Marshal Flame Resistant Certificate to Anaheim Fire & Rescue for applicable materials.
Ensure any foam-padded furniture (chairs, couches, ottomans, armchairs, etc.) complies with California flammability standards (TB 117 or TB 117-2013, depending on the exhibit area).
Important: Materials that cannot be verified as flame resistant may be removed from the exhibit floor before the show opens.
